David earned his Juris Doctorate from Western State University, graduating with Scholastic Merit and has been focused in the practice of Family Law since 1999. During his distinguished career, he represented over 1500 clients and made thousands of court appearances on their behalf throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County and San Bernardino County. He represented clients on matters of Legal Separation, Divorce, Child Custody, Visitation, Child Support, Spousal Support, Restraining Orders, Domestic Violence and other Family Law matters. David was also a qualified Minor’s Counsel registered in both Orange County and Los Angeles County. David was an experienced, passionate, effective and client-focused Family Law attorney who worked aggressively for his clients.
David was also a firm believer in training and educating those that worked in the firm. Sending both attorneys and paralegals to many MCLE seminars, classes and online courses each year. He took a personal approach in training the attorneys that worked for him so that they would advance rapidly in their professional skills with clients, opposing counsel, court professionals, judges and in trial.
David had long been an advocate of eliminating gender-bias against fathers in the California Family court system. The firm’s practice of Family Law has been primarily focused on Father’s Rights, advocating aggressively for fathers to get their fair share of time with their children.
David was a member of the bar association in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County and San Bernardino County and also served on the State Bar of California Regional Flexcom Committee for the Family Law Section of the Orange County Bar.
Prior to his legal career, David, a Vietnam War Veteran, worked with his father in the family aerospace manufacturing business after his honorable discharge from the Army, eventually opening his own manufacturing facility, to which he dedicated the next 17 years. During this time, David completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude with honors from National University and his Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law.
David actively gave back to the community through his continued philanthropic support of Little League Baseball, Girl Scouts of America, Assistance League of Orange, California State Parks Foundation, Pacific Crest Trail Association, Junior League, Orangewood Children’s Home, F.A.C.E.S., C.A.S.A., and the U.S. Coast Guard. When he was not helping clients, David spent his free time with his family scuba diving, fishing and hiking. David also enjoyed competitive golf and pool and was a huge fan of both collegiate and professional sports.
