Beginning in 2001, David C. Stone independently contracted to a family law firm specializing in Father's Rights and was responsible for matters from discovery to trial. In 2002, realizing the potential of his expertise to help fathers, David incorporated The Law Office of David C. Stone, APC in the State of California . Over the next five years, David served as the senior attorney for numerous trials and made thousands of court appearances.

David developed his philosophy regarding family law issues by incorporating his experience as a parent, business owner, corporate manager, and lawyer. His many family law appearances, study of family law, and his actual case outcomes have enhanced his methodology.

In mid-2006, David opened the Anaheim office and expanded the practice to concentrate on the direct representation of his clients. The office space was expanded and two certified paralegals were added to provide our clients with convenient access to a full-service family law firm.

Cathy M. Smith is the firm’s Managing Paralegal and has been a paralegal at The Law Office of David C. Stone since 2006. She has more than 5 years paralegal experience, with a family law emphasis including supplemental training and experience as a Supervised Visitation Monitor. Ms. Smith is also a licensed Notary Public. Ms. Smith is the mother of three grown children and has had personal experience with the divorce, child custody and visitation process. She has a strong work ethic and intercommunication skills and understands and will help guide you through the steps involved in family law matters.

Giovanni P. Pierce has been a paralegal for over 12 years and has extensive experience in both family law and civil litigation. Mr. Pierce has personally experienced and overcome the family law process that frustrates fathers and it has given him an understanding of the emotions involved. Mr. Pierce is a devoted father of five children, a husband, and both a mentor and basketball coach to high school athletes and collegiate players each summer at the NCAA “Say-No” League in Los Angeles. He rounds out the legal team at the Law Office of David C. Stone, and will assist in providing excellent legal support to help fathers cope with the difficult process of family law issues.
