Back Child Support or Over Due Spousal Support Payments

Arrearages are the outstanding child support or spousal support payments that is owed by one party to the other party or the County. The Law Office of David C. Stone has represented numerous clients regarding a Motion to Determine Arrearages and has established many arrearage payments.

Arrearages can occur by either underpayment or a retroactive order that creates arrearages when it is ordered. Arrearages can be handled in a lump sum or by regular payments. Interest can accrue on monies owed and there is a potential penalty for outstanding arrearages.
